Frederick is the General Manager of the firm. He is a qualified lawyer by the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and a Master of Laws (LLM) by the University of Southampton. He is duly registered with the Bar of Lawyers of Lima and Callao and is a founder member of the Peruvian Maritime Law Association, and, as such, has participated as speaker in conferences and seminars.

He has over 40 years of experience acting as P&I Correspondent and handles the major casualties involving collisions, damage to fixed and floating objects, pollution and all sort of cases.

Frederick also handles operations related cases.

Frederick is fluent in the English and Spanish language.

Jean Pierre joined in 2008, he is a qualified lawyer by Universidad de Lima with LLM studies in Business Law in the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru; Jean Pierre has also followed the Maritime Law Short Course by the University of Southampton.

He is duly registered with the Bar of Lawyers of Lima. Jean Pierre is in charge of the legal area of our Company, handling main cargo claims; both the ones submitted through normal commercial channels and those submitted via legal actions; Jean Pierre is also specialized in collisions, charterparties disputes and arbitration proceedings.

Jean Pierre has participated as speaker in conferences and dictated undergraduate courses about maritime law, shipping business and P&I.

Jean Pierre is fluent in the English and Spanish language.

Martín joined in 2007, he is a Bachelor in Law by the Universidad de Lima; with ten years of experience handling claims and legal matters. Martín is mainly in charge of claims related to damage to cargo, shortage in vehicles and reefers related to cold-treatment cargo. Martin is also in charge of NYK claims handling and is the direct link with the Regional Centre for NYK Claims Handling System Representacoes Proinde Ltda (Brazil).

Martin has participated in several judicial proceedings as representative of the local port agents, shipping companies and owners.

When required, Martin is in charge of preparing the claims against to the port operators.

Martin is fluent in the English and Spanish language.

Christian joined in 2014, he is a Bachelor in Law by the Universidad de San Martin de Porres. He is specialized in people related claims, such as, loss of life, personal injury, illness, crew claims and repatriation. In this specialty he has also acted as non-medical escort for foreign crewmembers that had to be repatriated to their home countries.

Christian also handles cargo related claims being in charge of evaluating their merits and in negotiation proceedings; he also assists with legal advice and performing legal documentation. On another field of work, Christian works preparing and/or assisting as translator from the Spanish into the English language as requested by clients.

Christian is fluent in English and Spanish language.

Ferella joined in 2011, she is the second generation of the Company she initially joined as secretary but now with the gained experience she specializes in handling cases of illness and personal injury. With her studies and experience in airline’s counter, she organizes the repatriation trips to the home countries of ill and injured crewmembers; Ferella also supports in the administrative areas of our company.

Cynthia joined in 2002, her main task is to provide administrative support to all claim’s handlers, and also prepares office translations of basic documents written in Spanish into the English language. Cynthia also supports in the operations area performing arrangements with the nominated surveyors as requested by our claims handlers.
